Florida Grand Opera (FGO) is an American opera company located in Miami, Florida, it's the state's oldest performing arts organization and the seventh oldest opera company in the U.S. Founded in 1994, FGO resulted from the merger of two regional companies: the Opera Guild of Greater Miami, founded in 1941 by Arturo di Filippi, and the Opera Guild, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, established in 1945.
